1
Chin up
Shoulders down
Relax your neck
Don’t frown
2
Faster hands
Slower slide
Don’t rush
Let it glide
3
Legs first
Don’t shove your bum
Swing back like a
Pendulum
4
Load the blade
Before you push
Try to stand up
Off your tush
5
Lighter hands
No need to grab
In square
Or catch a crab
6
In together
Timing now
Out together
Hard on bow
7
Anticipate
Push towards the pin
Jesus wept
Just get it in
8
Pick it up
Let it run
More contrast
Good one!
9
Eyes in the boat
Look at your oar
Squaring early
Even more
10
Rocking over
From the hips
Feel the air
In your armpits
11
Get your weight
Out of the bow
But not until
I say ‘now’
12
Close your eyes
Maintain speed
Check it hard!
You’re in the weed
13
Breathe deep
Turn on your core
Drive through the feet
Now 20 more
14
Patient now
Around the turn
Arms too slow
Towards the stern
15
Up the slide
You need to float
Rush and you’ll
Upset the boat
16
Accelerate
Squeeze your rump
Sit tall
Don’t slump
17
Raise your hands
You’re going deep
Washing out now
I could weep
18
Chicken wing
Concentrate
Get it in!
Still too late
19
Let it run
Hear the bubbles
Higher elbows
Tighter puddles
20
Tap down
Then feather
Not like that
That’s a squeather
21
Stretch your arms
For more length
Don’t overreach
Lord, give me strength
22
Knees down longer
Keep travelling
Wtf?
Brain unravelling
23
This learning curve
It has no end
An endless journey
Round the bend.
You’ve captured it perfectly Mary!

LOL this is super, soooooo many items and every one makes a difference, at my age ( 75 ) i have to focus on one thing at a time, concentrating on two is multitasking!

Thanks Helmut. Me too! But I think it helps us hang on to our cognitive skills, even if we have a brain meltdown now and again. 🙂
